I think this is a typical winter with lots of snow and temperatures that are pretty cold. However, my springer absolutely loves the snow. As soon as the back door is open, he runs around in the snow and you can tell he is having a great time. Even though he is no longer classified as a puppy, he thinks he is still a puppy the way he plays outside. He has definitely made this winter a little more fun. He is such a joy.

This summer is fabulous! The ladybugs, hummingbirds, and of course the hummingbugs are out. The colors are amazing on the hummingbirds this year!
I’m not certain how other Springers are, but my springer does not really like the hot weather. One of the things he enjoys about summer is he loves running back and forth through the sprinklers in the backyard. This is so cute and funny!

Spring is here! It has been pretty warm for the beginning of Spring. I am waiting for the the wonderful ladybugs, and of course, the hummingbugs to return very soon!
Here’s another one of what I think is an amusing Springer story to tell. I have mentioned before that my Springer loves toys, especially his football toy. Recently, I asked him to get another toy (a frisbee). He went right over to his toy box, and started sifting through his toys, some of them came out all over the floor, but this did not stop him from his search for the frisbee. He got the frisbee and headed proudly back over to me with it. You can’t help but think how cute and intelligent he is!

My Springer loves the winter and the snow. When I went to the backyard, he was running and jumping through the snow and having a great time. He is so happy that there is enough snow to run through.
He is still very playful, even though technically he is almost an adult dog. His great personality makes him so loveable. He is still doing the walking up to the dog food dish, grabbing one morsel and proceeds to walk away and come back for more after. However, there are many other cute things he does on a daily basis. For instance, if you ask him to get one of his favorite toys (which is a football dog toy), he will go right to his toy box, sift through all of the toys until he finds it, and brings it out and gives it to you. I know how wonderful my dog is!

This has been quite a warm Fall, so far.
The leaves are starting to turn beautiful colors. This is the time of year when my Springer is having a great time. He absolutely adores chasing the leaves all around the yard, something he has liked since a little puppy. He will still fly through the leaves when you are trying to get them into bags. Of course, they scatter all around. He sometimes can’t decide which ones to go after and play with. He is having such a good time. You can’t help but think how cute he is!

There are so many cute things that my Springer Spaniel does, but one comes to mind. Whenever, he is ready to eat, he walks casually up to his dish and starts to eat one morsel of his food and then walks away. He then proceeds to come by casually again, and eats a morsel or two more and will walk away. He finally will come back again and will start eating the rest of his food. This has become the way he likes to eat his food whether it’s the morning or evening meal. This is very cute and funny!

We all know that Spring is a very nice time of year, but Summer is fantastic! The weather is warm and beautiful. All of the Summer flowers are absolutely amazing! The trees are in full bloom. There is such a variety of birds, including hummingbirds, that come out in the Summertime. I have hung two hummingbird feeders in my backyard, with hopes that these wonderful little birds will come out.
My English Springer likes to be outside in the backyard, usually where the shade of the trees are. He loves running all around the backyard. He still has a lot of puppy in him.

Spring is finally here!
The Spring flowers are just now starting to bloom. Of course, there are many different types of flowers, but there is something about the Tulips and Dafodills that I like. The trees are budding. Some of the trees are magnificent! What a beautiful time of year.
My Springer is also enjoying just being outside in this wonderful weather. His personality makes him such a joy! He loves everything and everyone. He gets more adorable every day.

It is hard to believe that Spring will be here very soon. There has been a lot of snow this past Winter. But, knowing that my English Springer adored the snow and enjoyed playing in it, made it a little easier to get through the Winter season.
Of course, I can’t wait for Spring. There are so many beautiful flowers that start to bloom. The Tulips and the Daffodils are two of my favorite Spring flowers. There are also beautiful trees to admire. The birds are coming back and the weather is warmer. Spingtime is a wonderful time of year.

Winter is actually a very nice time of year. I don’t really like icy and cold weather, but the snow is beautiful when it’s on the trees.
I think my English Springer is just absolutely adorable. He loves winter. When I open the door he carefully runs out on the deck and to the backyard. He had a little bit of snow to play in so far, but the little bit that was on the ground he tried to enjoy. He wasn’t getting a lot of fun out of this, so he decided to come back inside. He really is very cute!
