Wintertime

This is the time of year I have started baking a lot more. I recently have been making a lot of homemade apple pies. I can’t believe the great response from my family! I can’t wait to start baking cookies, and other wonderful bakery items from scratch.

I am on the search for new recipes to make baked goods from scratch. I mentioned previously about the bagels I attempted to make from scratch. This is something that I need to work on. I also thought of trying to come up with some of my own recipes.

I think my springer likes the smell of the food I am baking or cooking. He is so cute!

Fall

This is a wonderful time of year. Nothing better than cooking a lot of great food and having your family and friends enjoy the meal.

I have recently started baking a lot of pies and cookies. This is so much fun and I am hoping that everyone is enjoying them as much as I enjoy making them. I am always trying to find new recipes.

My springer loves when I am cooking. I think he just likes the smell of all the food cooking. He is so adorable.

Fall

I don’t know anyone who doesn’t agree that the trees in the Fall season are beautiful. The colors on the leaves are so vibrant!

Anyone who knows my Springer, knows that he loves when I rake up the leaves. He waits until there is a very big pile of leaves, he then either jumps in them or runs through them. He then comes running the other direction and he’s in the leaves again. I can’t help but start to laugh. He is totally cute!

I haven’t noticed any hummingbirds, hummingbugs, or ladybugs around recently, I think it is just too cold for them.

This is also the start of baking season for me. I am always trying to find new recipes that are unusual. I recently made some home made bagels, that came out OK. I need to perfect my baking on the bagels a little bit more.

This truly is a very nice season.

Summertime

Summertime is here!

I can’t hardly believe how beautiful the flowers, plants and the trees are!

The hummingbirds are also out and enjoying the food that I give to them in the feeders that are in the backyard. I think there are more hummingbirds this year than last year. There are also a variety of other beautiful birds that come to visit my backyard. Some of the colors of these birds are amazing. And let’s not forget the hummingbugs!

The summertime is more for grilling outside. There are so many different kinds of food that can be grilled. This is fantastic!

My Springer likes the cooler months better, but he does have fun in the summer. He is so cute!

I think this year it might be a hot summer, but then again the differences between the four seasons is what makes them special in their own way.

Spring

Spring is here! Unfortunately, it is not as warm as I would like it, but the flowers and trees are trying their best to bloom.

As for my cooking and baking I am having a great time. I can’t believe how much fun it is to make these delicious baked goods and dinners, knowing that people are enjoying them just as much as I am enjoying making them. I was pleasantly suprised to get some pretty good feedback.

My Springer is so cute. He waits patiently at a good distance until I am done cooking or baking and we then go outside so he can play in the backyard. I understand that his age is getting close to him becoming a senior dog. You can’t tell by the way he still plays with his toys. He is still my cute puppy!

Here’s hoping for some warm weather very soon!

Winter

This has felt like such a long winter. Not only has there been more snow then in the past couple of years, but the temperatures are so cold.
I know that my Springer loves the snow and he is definitely enjoying playing in the snow this winter. Of course, he also loves to come inside, after playing outside, to get dried and brushed. He is so adorable.

As for the baking I mentioned before, I am loving it. I have been making pies, cookies, cakes, and other baked goods all winter. Not only do I enjoying baking all these wonderful things, but I am also glad that others are enjoying them, as well.

Holidays

I think that the holidays are wonderful. Family and friends get together to enjoy all of the wonderful food and the joys of the holiday season.

I love cooking. This has been a favorite of mine for a long time. Some of the things I love are baking (for example cookies, pies and cakes), and preparing dinners for either small groups or large groups of people.

My springer loves this time of year, as well. As I have mentioned before, he loves to run outside in the snow. As soon as the back door is open, he runs out and immediately starts playing in the snow.

Fall

Fall is approaching and the leaves on the trees are so beautiful. The colors are amazing and vibrant!
Of course, my springer absolutely loves the cooler weather. The leaves are just starting to fall. When the leaves are being gathered in a pile in the backyard, he loves to run right through them. I can’t help but laugh. He is absolutely adorable, and the funniest thing is that he does not only do this once, but a couple of times. After a short while, however, he then proceeds to check out the rest of the backyard. I just smile and think how wonderful my springer is.

Summer!

There have been quite a few beautiful hummingbirds visiting the feeders that I have out for them. Their colors are fabulous! I think a ladybug (also another favorite of mine) came by, as well. This is what is wonderful about summertime.

My springer came outside in the backyard. A very curious hummingbird came by, who had just feed on the feeders I have out for them, and they were face-to-face for one brief second. Of course, the hummingbird realized he was direcly in front my very cute springer who was just as curious about this tiny bird. My springer just stood there even after the hummingbird had already flew away. It is hard to say what was in my springer’s mind at that brief moment, but this only lasted a moment and then he was back to playing in the backyard. This was very cute!

Winter

This winter has been kind of harsh. There has been so much snow.

The only thing that makes this winter much more tolerable is my Springer. As soon as the back door is open, he runs out and jumps around in the snow. He absolutely loves the snow! When he comes in after a little while of playing outside in the snow, he gets dried and brushed right away. He loves this! He is having such a good time. As soon as the snow starts falling again, he’s right at the back door waiting to go out for more fun in the snow! I don’t think anyone could help but smile. Just knowing how much fun he is having in the snow, makes me happy also.

Even though my Springer is totally enjoying all of this snow, I am still hoping that spring will be here soon.
